In a market often saturated with derivative designs, jlux's exploration of micro-brands leads him to the echo/neutra Rivanera, a timepiece that defies expectations. His initial skepticism about micro-brand offerings gives way to genuine admiration for this Italian design study. jlux highlights the Rivanera's unique aesthetic and execution, positioning it as a refreshing departure from the norm.

...with the surprising echo/neutra Rivanera.
Sofar not too impressed with the many micro-brand offerings : a sea of vintage inspired field/dive/chronograph watches that often are in person much less convincing than their Instagram pictures might suggest.

Not so the stunning design study by Italian based echo/neutra with their Rivanera watch.

I have to admit that I did not have the brand on my radar prior the release of this watch...which is completely different from the rest of their portfolio.
However when I first saw pictures I was immediately drawn into the design language and execution.
They also have a grey dial version but my preference was for the black one.

The combination of the sand blasted Ti case with polished edges and the "art deco" inspired dial was simply perfect to me.
And so much better than recent "non-round" watch offerings from some Geneva based company smile))) .

Perfect proportions with 27 x 40 x 5.9 mm ...

... of course also possible due to the use of the slim ETA 7001 "Peseux " movement.

A real delight on the wrist !!!

Quite unusual ,I have received many favorable comments when wearing this watch ....from both men and women !
Even more so if they become aware of the very very fair price point .

Thanks for looking,
Gerard

which unfortunately is not always the case with square (Cubitus) and many rectangular watches. Good value and it fits your wrist well.

Mixing the hands is strange but oddly on first glance it works

I thought they were slated for March/April. Maybe you had an early batch. I fully concur with your comments. It is a breath of fresh air to see a truly new design: this one is very successful. I have the grey on my list of 'maybe's'

I was long time undecided between the grey and black dial : both look great!
