!40 pieces I believe to celebrate Minerva's 140th anniversary. I wish Montblanc would reinstate the Minerva name on all its watches bearing Minerva movements. Enjoy your love affair!
If Montblanc change it’s name into Minerva, with the movements of Minerva or also with Montblanc movements, it would be a hit in the watch world. If average customers will discover? In my case, i go run to an AD for a Minerva. It sounds magic. Watches for fans.
Montblanc is trying to promote its own brand. I still believe it can do both side by side and be successful at it.
at least with regards to the colors, hands, and dial. The movement is certainly unique — how big is the watch?
for me Minerva is a brand with watchmaking history and Montblanc is a brand with penmaking history. Each of its own! Minerva will be always Minerva and Montblanc Montblanc, while the latter uses the movements and heritage of the former to create watches under his own name. It is pure marketing gag as sham1 pointed out well. For me, a real Minerva watch is a pure aesthetic and horological pleasure, while a Montblanc watch remains a brand which uses another brand’s movement in a new fancy clothes,
Well, it is a strap with style, I find it matches perfect to the style of the watch.
