AnthonyTsai introduces the new MING 19.01, a timepiece featuring a Schwarz-Etienne movement with skeletonized bridges and barrels. His post details the watch's 39mm titanium case, sapphire dial with a radial gradient, and impressive 100-hour power reserve. This article explores the design philosophy and technical prowess behind MING's second offering, sparking community discussion on its value proposition.

The MING 19.01 timepiece features a 39mm titanium case with a sapphire dial with radial gradient from deep blue opaque at the center to transparent at the outer edges.

Movement used is a Schwartz-Etienne with a power reserve of 100 hours with skeletonized bridges that are anthracite colored and bead blasted for a matte look.  Double barrels are also skeletonized.  Very attractive movement if you ask me!

Retail price is CHF 7,900 but you can pre-order the watch on the MING website for CHF 6,800 until Dec 31, 2017.  Pre-orders begin a few days from now on Nov 7th.

Deliveries are estimated to take place in 3Q of 2018.

Cheers,
Anthony

semi opaque crystal is unique, 100 hr PR, Beautiful balanced movement and case. Is this Moser level??

but for a vintage JLC Memovox is next on the list. This Ming doesn't have the odd orientation of Arabic numbers, & looks so much better for it

Congrats Ming, this is really an achievement to create a design that is new, but not disconcerting. Really nailed the details. Bravo, Brandon

I don’t like the: lugs radial gradient lack of numerals/indices lack of seconds hand lack of strap in-fill between lugs price and the least said about the lumed circle nonsense, the better! I do like the: movement long PR hands choice of strap manufacturer Where I find a severe discord is with the lightly skeletonised movement, only for the blue gradient to block a great portion of light transmission from the dial side when viewing the rear. For someone with Ming’s expertise in lighting when it
