Henry (joenghenry) shares his initial impressions of the Montblanc Minerva Split Second Chronograph LE100, a timepiece that has quickly found a special place in his collection. His post offers a firsthand look at the watch's aesthetic appeal and the tactile experience of its winding and chronograph functions, providing valuable insights for collectors considering this limited edition reference.

My MB Minerva Split Second just landed this weekend, and I’m really impressed. The winding is super smooth, and the chrono/split-second action feels great. It’s my first split-second, so it definitely has a special spot in my humble collection. I’ll be keeping it on the wrist for a while 😊

Cheers, Henry.

Can we have a movement shot when you get a chance? I love the way the dial looks so different depending on the lighting. I think I’ve seen one other member post this one, so certainly an uncommon piece. I’m sure you will enjoy it for a long time to come😊. Congratulations!

On the last photo, the hour and minute hands almost disappear and the dial glows. Great changing reaction to light. Best, Emmanuel

However, the gorgeous black ruby bicompax dial can certainly make up for this “imperfection”, imho😅. Best, Henry
