The Montblanc Heritage Spirit Perpetual Calendar Sapphire is a novelty Montblanc will launch at Watches and Wonders 2015 in Hong Kong.

I tried on this watch some months ago but didn't post these pictures here as this watch was under embargo then. Some live pics to share:

A very elegant skeletonized version of the Heritage Spirit Perpetual Calendar in red gold at 39mm. Great size for all wrist sizes.

Also with this sapphire dial design, the sub dials don't look as cluttered in the middle as the regular edition with the sunburst silver bombe dial.

Personally I am not a fan of skeletonized dials but for those who like to see more parts under the dial, I think seeing the mechanical parts of a perpetual calendar, especially with its layered sub dials, is pretty cool!

I will take more pictures of this new watch and share when I have a chance. Stay tuned

It looks great

I've seen the first official pictures indeed yesterday and after your live ones I really find it appealing. The dial of the silver dial version is less impressive and doesn't attract me as much. I think that the close subdials look much less so in this version. It looks great, thanks Robin. Cheers, Mark
