mkt33 launches a festive holiday contest, inviting WatchProSite members to share their ideal Montblanc watch gifts across three distinct categories: Star/Sport, Rieussec or Timewalker, and Villeret. This engaging community activity not only showcases the breadth of Montblanc's collections but also offers a rare, collectible Montblanc lighted loupe as a prize, adding a unique incentive for participation.

It's the season of giving!

So the question is:  "If you could gift a Montblanc watch, which one would it be?"

The rules are simple.  To enter you only need to respond to this post.  In the response you must include 3 photos.  One photo should be the Star/Sport model you would choose to give.  The second photo should be a Rieussec or Timewalker model of your choosing.  The third photo should be a Villeret.  That's it!  No explanations are necessary so a simple post with only 3 photos and no words qualify.  Anyone can enter (including PPro mods).  Winner chosen completely at random...probably by my daughter.  Shipped to the winner free of charge.

The contest will last for 12 days (why?  Because of the song!  )

What am I giving away?

A very rare, very collectible,  limited edition lighted Montblanc loop smile

Yes, its the lighted loop which was gifted to PPro IGOTT2 attendees.  Every guest only received one of these...no extras were given to my knowledge eventhough many tried to cajole a spare.

This loop has remained unused ( I unsealed it for the first time today to take the photos and to test the light)

Good luck!  I'm interested to see your choices...

For those wondering why I've never used the loop...here is the one I use instead

The loop my mother used when she studied at the GIA (Gemological Institute of America), for her final GIA exams 30 years ago, and daily during her 15 year retail career.  Notice the patina smile

Happy Holidays and warmest wishes,
Mike

I already have the special loupe given to PuristS at our 2nd International Gathering Of The Tribes (IGOTT-2). I do not qualify for the contest but I am happy to start off the contest with my photos. I cheat to call this a Montblanc Sports watch ;) The one on the right with diamonds would be nice. I already have the one on the left without diamonds This one qualifies as a Montblanc Villeret. Regards, MTF

Star Elegence and undoubted choice ! Love that "stitchless" strap ! The new jumping hour .... an evolution of a GREAT watch ! In Rose GOLD , pls ! What I really need the loupe for is this !!! (Watches were on display in Beijing last week) Seeing one is a treat ! Handling and trying on both ... MAGICAL ! Elegance and warmth ... can't go wrong with either ! The refinement on that enamel dial is amazing and needs to be appreciated in the metal. Been haunting me ever since !
