There's just something about the name itself ...yeah I know...Minerva was the Roman goddess of wisdom, medicine, commerce, handicrafts, poetry, the arts in general, and later, war. etc etc But I just can't do it. I won't...I won't. Just to be clear, I can't do Fred or Hank, or Donald either.
Neither of them for me due to the design. But I also really wonder whether the brand switch to Minerva only will really lead to new customer buying who have complained before about the Montblanc brand on the dial. Honestly I don't think so because the pricing is very ambitious compared to Minerva in the Frey and pre-Frey era. Saying that, this new Minerva costs USD 38k and it is a mixture of rose gold and a lot of steel so I am not convinced by the pricing especially of the very highly priced skeleton chronographs.
