Penfriend's Montblanc collection showcases a brand often overshadowed by its pen heritage, yet consistently producing horological gems. This post and its subsequent discussion highlight why Montblanc watches, particularly those from the Le Locle facility, deserve greater recognition for their quality and value. It's a compelling look at how collectors perceive and appreciate a brand that defies easy categorization.

A treasure which must me discovered

Honestly, i do not wear nor have any Montblanc. Its hard also. Montblanc deserve attention, and what would be great i go to pick up my first Montblanc. Special note to that beautiful pocket watch.

Thank you - and yes, the pocket watch is a stunner. I use it as a desk top watch as it can stand as well [nt]

Very nice collection, indeed.

I am a fan of Montblanc pens, in fact I will be in a MB Boutique later today and I may buy the new Victor Hugo fountain pen (Writer’s Edition 2020). Every time I am in the Boutique I look at the watches as well and there are some truly beautiful offerings, many at very reasonable price points.
