... but back then, I could not afford it. Last year, JLC decided to "honour" its local sales partner, that had nursed JLC for decades (since VDO ownership), also through difficult times, by withdrawing the sales concession, because the shop's location would not match the brand image any more. Consequently, the remaining JLCs in stock were sold at a discount. Normally, I wear watches from 40 to 44mm diameter, so I am used to larger watches. However, I tried on some of the larger Reversos and like
Basically, I always wanted a rectangular watch, but on the paper, most (affordable) Reversos appeared to be too small for me. However, this experience once again proves that pure figures are very different when it comes to the subjective presence, especially of a rectangular timepiece. Marcus
