I've been hunting for a Vintage Speedmaster for a while, I really think its a quintessential watch to have for any watch enthusiast.

Finding the right one, however isn't as easy as I thought it would be. I knew I wanted a Cal. 321 but it just has to be a balance between condition and price. There are so many factors in condition as a lot of the straight lugs speedmaster are not as well preserved condition and most of them has a pretty worn bezel.

So just before the end of last year I found this piece here, a 105.003-64 "Ed White" in quite a lovely condition with archive from Omega, stating that this watch was delivered to a US Naval Base. And here it is :

Will it be my only vintage speedmaster? Perhaps not. But if I have to end up with this one, I would still feel very fortunate!

Sam
