One of my favorite brands is without a doubt Nomos.

I like their no-nonsense (typical German smile) approach to watch making, the design consistency and the horological content with in-house movements.

I actually have four of their watches in my collection, each different but all with the typical Nomos design DNA.

The latest member is the Ahoi "sand" in 38.5 mm : the Nomos way of doing a sports/dive watch with 200 m WR rating ...and less than 10 mm thickness !!

Then the Metro neomatik with a slightly larger 40.5 mm diameter and the very pleasing date solution : a cool modern urban design.

The Tangente is the one Nomos that started it all : it is their most iconic watch and a perfect blend between dressy and casual.
Many different diameter/dial variants are available : mine is the 38.5 mm version with a "blue-gold" sunbrushed dial.

And finally a bit of extravagance with this flamboyant red limited edition Tetra.

Now I feel that I have most Nomos basis covered but will not exclude adding another one in the future.

Thanks for looking,
Gerard

Interesting collection …

It’s always good to see something different and I have been tempted to add one to my collection. The Ahii “Sand” looks very appealing. Best regards Captain

Thanks, the Ahoi is a great looking watch.

Here a wrist shot to show that this 38.5 mm piece has a great wrist presence similar to other 40 mm watches.
