Clueless_Collector shares the culmination of a long hunt for a specific Omega model, reflecting on the challenges of acquiring discontinued watches at a premium. This post highlights the emotional and practical aspects of pursuing a timepiece that was once overlooked but has since become highly sought after.

I’m not into paying premiums but this is those case when you have no choice.

When the watch was released back in 2008, I wasn’t into watch collecting that much.

For new and available watches, I won’t be doing such crazy move but for those that are gone from current catalog, timing will be the essence.

So here it is, finally I hunted down a nice sample.

Boxes and papers, worn few times and minor scuff, acceptable in my books.

The only gripe is the design of the crown is hard to wind but all others is pretty “COOL”

Papers dated 2012, so that’s one of those stories back then, these were sitting in the AD display.

I was back in 2008 no watch collector. But always sideways interested in watches like the same with audio equipment and toy cars. Back arround 2008, i look for the first time high luxury watches like Rolex and Panerai. I discouver Longines, and my taste grow to Longines. They have a sense of cultural chique and classy timeless approuche. I like the index design and how hands where sculped. Like a sculptor made a bust. I want to buy a Panerai radiomir Ferrari edition. At some time i would forget

Quite scary but private seller has been very responsive and following up so I felt much secured.
