Long rumored that Omega would open a boutique on Newbury St. After landing at Logan, I was heading towards Newbury St. for a coffee run when I was pleasantly surprised to see the Omega Boutique was finally opened:

Although I recently saw the black dial Seamaster Diver 300M at the South Coast Plaza, I had another look at it today:

But I finally had the opportunity to see the steel dial variant as well:

Although there wasn’t a Speedmaster Pilot in the display case, they had one in the back:

Omega previously had a boutique at the Natick Mall, an upscale mall approximately 10 miles west of Boston. This boutique was permanently closed back in December 2016 / January 2017. In my opinion, Omega didn’t want to pay the premium to run a boutique on Newbury St. at that time, which is where one will find a significant amount of luxury retailers within walking distance.

The next rumored boutique opening is supposedly Jaeger-LeCoultre. We shall see . . .🤞

About the Omega Ref. Diver300M

The Seamaster Diver 300M is a core offering within Omega's contemporary sports watch collection, recognized for its robust construction and technical specifications. This particular reference maintains the established design language of the Diver 300M series, characterized by its distinctive wave-patterned dial and helium escape valve, positioning it as a capable and recognizable diver's watch within the brand's extensive catalog. It represents a modern iteration that continues the line's design evolution.

This model features a stainless steel case, typically measuring 42 mm in diameter, which houses a self-winding mechanical movement. The movement, often a Co-Axial Master Chronometer caliber, provides a substantial power reserve and is visible through a sapphire crystal case back. A domed sapphire crystal with anti-reflective treatment on both sides protects the dial, ensuring legibility in various conditions. The watch is engineered for significant water resistance, suitable for professional diving.

For collectors, the Seamaster Diver 300M appeals to those seeking a technically advanced and durable timepiece from a major Swiss manufacturer. Its availability in various dial colors, including black and steel, offers choices for different preferences. The consistent updates to its movement technology and material science ensure its relevance in the competitive landscape of luxury dive watches, making it a staple for both new and established collectors.

Thanks for your very nice report! Great shots! I am a bit underwhelmed by the design of the boutique, though. It looks like a 2012 boutique....

But those watches are really nice so no problem for me

It’s quite similar to other Omega boutiques that have recently opened.

But like yourself, I’m more interested in the watches!🥂

Awesome pics Mark, and thanks for sharing! 👍🏻🍻

I was at the Natick Mall Boutique several times. It was always very slow when I was in there. No more than 2 customers tops every time I was there. Very cool place to visit, and view / try-on watches. They had competition right across the street at Barmakians , who I believe is an authorized dealer. I got links changed there a couple times and it was always polite and prompt service. Once, I misplaced my red pleather box for my 2500 PO. I went in there and told them I lost the box and I asked ho

I still remember trying to contact them . . .

When Omega released their Trilogy collection back in 2017. That’s when I discovered they had closed. Great to hear you had some great experiences there, Jesse!🥂
