As you all know, the Cal 321 has been reintroduced in the platinum Speedmaster " Moon Watch " lastly. In the Official Omega Web Site, they posted a nice photo of the Cal 321, which looks like a picture of the moon, with its bright and its dark side. Very inspired and inspiring, I find. Best, Nicolas

They’ll make about 2000 mouvement speedmaster year. In a separated “building” with specific watchmakers Building might be the wrong word, maybe it’s a special room in the same building but it’s not within their regular production Anyway, at the end of this year they will put these wonderful movements in a steel case. The platinum is great but at euro 55 K it’s not for everyone. The steel will ofcourse be more expensive than a regular speedy but the price will be “acceptable”
This remind me of death star from star wars. Thanks for sharing.
Exquisite photograph.
. . . fitted in a Seamaster, ref 145.006. Unfortunately, I'm not at liberty to disclose details, other than it's a reverse panda version. If the stars are in alignment, Omega's classic chronograph movement will finally find a place in my collection. Fingers crossed! Don Turo
. . . it's practically a NOS ref 145.006 reverse panda. Part of a collection being broken up piece by piece, but unexpected legal issues have arisen which preclude mentioning any details. There are other spectacular pieces including two rg chronometers, one of which might be right up your alley. I'll fill you in as soon as I get the go-ahead from the broker. Don't know when that will be, and it may be a few or even several months. Fingers crossed, Art
