ArmisT's exploration of alternative straps for his Omega Speedmaster Moonwatch offers a fresh perspective on personalization beyond the standard bracelet. His post, influenced by fellow collector MichaelC, delves into how a simple strap change can dramatically alter a watch's aesthetic and feel. This discussion highlights the enduring appeal of customizing iconic timepieces to suit individual style and comfort.

Michael influenced me to do it😳🤣
I had been interested to switch from bracelet and have been considering the OEM rubber strap.  But I liked Michael’s alternative strap choices, so I found this cardura strap at home.

Another option that occurred to me is putting it on a black bund strap.  I know there aren’t many bund fans here, but I’ve always liked that Paul Newman casual cool look.  Variety can be nice sometimes.

I will see if the bund I have will work size wise at a later time.

I did really like it, surprisingly didn’t do good wet. The inner like cardboard or whatever got crimped.

I’ve been meaning to put the Ck back to its original state and packaging as I prepare to move it along as part of a larger consolidation plan. I like it very much, but the responsible action is to distill down the collection as others here have been doing.

I think the textured surface on your strap offers a great contrast to the smooth dial. My best strap choice on hand has a very smooth texture, and I honestly love it more than I thought I would. But I would like to have your exact strap as an option, really looks spectacular!
