Thanks to everyone who commented in my thread below and for the PMs (you know who you are!) - after a bit of thought and a conversation with the seller during which we quickly reached mutual agreement, the rose gold 1894 Hommage has come home with me...

The feline arbiter of taste appears to approve!

Best

E.

I am not cool enough for the herd...and I don’t think they’d want me to try to join! But you understand that - I know we come from the same perspective... Best E.

An 1894 Homage, a limited edition of 1894 pieces in rose gold for Omega’s hundredth year, produced in 1994. There were also a few other versions, some for the Japan market only, and some (all?) of those versions were only 100 pieces. They use calibre 269 new old stock movements from the 1940s, as I understand it. They don’t seem to be too rare - yet - but I certainly feel lucky to have happened upon this one! Best E.
