About the Omega Seamaster Ref. Ploprof1200M

The Omega Seamaster Ploprof 1200M in titanium represents a modern reinterpretation of Omega's historic professional diver's watch, designed for extreme underwater environments. This reference maintains the distinctive monobloc case architecture and robust construction of its predecessors while integrating contemporary materials and horological advancements. It is positioned within Omega's Seamaster collection as a highly specialized tool watch, emphasizing functionality and durability for professional use.

This specific model features a 55 x 48 mm titanium case, paired with a matching titanium bracelet. It is powered by Omega's Co-Axial Master Chronometer Caliber 8912, an automatic movement certified by METAS for its precision, anti-magnetism, and chronometric performance. The watch is water-resistant to 1200 meters (4000 feet) and includes a sapphire crystal, a unidirectional rotating bezel with a safety pusher, and a helium escape valve. The dial is often presented in a grey or black finish, complemented by luminous hands and markers.

For collectors, the titanium Ploprof 1200M is valued for its blend of heritage design and modern engineering. Its titanium construction offers a significant reduction in weight compared to steel versions, enhancing wearability without compromising its formidable presence. The inclusion of a sapphire case back, a feature not present in all Ploprof iterations, allows for observation of the advanced Co-Axial movement, adding to its appeal as a technically sophisticated diver's instrument.

The Ploprof evokes an instant emotion. Chunky and yet light and very easily wearable. The titanium combo of case, dial and bracelet is a complete package. To top it, Omega has added two extra bracelets of S and L sizes alongside the standard M size fitted . This allows to configure the bracelet for the best fit and furthermore use the micro adjustment in the clasp to make the fit absolutely bespoke. And add to it the strap thrown in as well. Lume is extremely generous and lights up like a christ

Should be featured in a Bond like the Breitling from Thunderball. Maybe the detonator for a small atomic device...🤔

. . . five years ago. And I contemplated buying it on the spot - the only hold-up was a lingering uncertainty over the possibility of a Railmaster in the near future. Which, of course, came to pass the following year. If I could do it all over again, maybe, just maybe, I'd go for the Ploprof and then wait for a manual-winding Rail. Art

the nicest Ploprof. The orange and the grey is matching well top. The white lume is terrific. 1200 meter depth. For most diving actions it is enough. But is there a watch for the bottom of the Mariana trench? 10 km depth is very deep, so divers could wear a ploprof in a submersible. 1200 meter is the record, so what do these watches if diving deeper? And what is the maximum diving depth of divers with diving equipment on?

come across a ploprof with orange grey white, it would only be a problem if the owner go to ask to much bucks for it. I wil go to a 2500 dollars max as the ploprof is in a normal condition, papers, box. What is the average price anyway?
