Aquaracer1's reflection on the Omega Seamaster 2500 movement, specifically the 39mm variant, sparks a compelling discussion among collectors. This piece delves into the enduring appeal of its slim 11mm profile and how its dimensions compare to more contemporary Omega offerings. Aquaracer1's personal experience and query invite readers to consider the subtle yet significant impact of case size and thickness on wearability and aesthetic.

If I got the 39mm version, it probably would still be with me! My friend has this version. Still with him to this day even if he has focused primarily on independents.
I agonized quite a bit about 36 or 39. I came across a mint condition 36 and decided to give it a go since the 39 is generally easier to find. The watch is supremely comfortable and a real joy to wear, in a way it almost wears more like jewelry than a watch, especially in the smaller sizes. My only minor gripe is the single push clasp which can sometimes open itself depending on the angle of your wrist, a double push mechanism would be more reliable.
Here is my Aquatera Seamaster. Have a pleasant day. Geross.
The 2500 era is the best proportions
And can be versatile with straps too
I chose to remember 🍻
