Nicolas (amanico) shares his journey to acquire a highly coveted Omega Seamaster 300 CK 2913, a vintage diver he deeply missed after losing a previous CK 14755. This post captures the excitement and anticipation of securing a grail watch, highlighting the aesthetic appeal and historical significance of this 1950s reference.

Life is curious, but the phenomenon is well known by a majority of us: It is when you loose something that you really feel how much you miss it.

This is certainly the case of the Seamaster 300.

I had a very nice CK 14 755, which I sadly lost.

With a bit of luck, I will get this superb CK 2913.

The case is one of the most elegant, among its competitor from the same era ( Fifties ), the dial is envouting with these long and thin triangular indexes and the hour arrow hand, the patina is just awesome, and the condition of the watch is ok for me.

Cherry on the cake, the bezel... I don't know if it is original, but if it has been redone, I have to say that the work is fine.

Here are some pictures of the desired beast:

Will keep you updated, if all goes well.

Fingers crossed!

Best,

Nicolas

When I fell on this one, I had the feeling it could replace my ( not too bad ) 14755. I will soon know if I can get it. But it sings loud to me. Best, and thanks for your nice words, Erich. Nicolas.
