Team,

Yesterday we went to the Omega Boutique to collect a watch that my wife ordered months back (more about this watch if I had an opportunity - she is very possessive with her watches) and there was a single Seamaster 300 "Trilogy there.

My warm thank you to Ms. D., from the Boutique for this wonderful opportunity.

Here are my impressions:

1) The watch is a true miracle of reproduction from the original one. Much better than the "rusty" original, IMHO.

2) Omega left no details behind. Even the small Omega logo that exists on the plastic crystal is present, this time on the sapphire crystal.

3) The bezel is beautiful and, being made of ceramic (?) is not fragile as the old one.

4) The movement is a Master Chronometer 8806, solid and accurate as any METAS certified Omega movement.

Since I'm waiting, anxious (Where is Omega?), for my Trilogy set I left the Boutique without it.

Beautiful don't describes this watch.

Thanks for reading.

Cheers,

Nilo

Out of curiosity how did you find the bracelet. I've heard remark that the clasp is too chunky and detracts from the vintage look and feel of the watch (which of course was on a slim and light bracelet.

I would like to know this too. For me Omega sport pieces photograph well, but doesnโ€™t wear well for me. Perhaps itโ€™s my wrist. Was looking at these re-editions to test the waters again.

I had a similar experience with the Railmaster trilogy. Best, Brandon

I'm a big fan of reissue piece. This one is beginning to "bother" me. With the moonwatch, I think this will be a good timepiece should I fail on my quest for a Speedy 57 reissue. Thanks for sharing the lovely pics of your Seamaster 57 reissue!
