Aquaracer1's hands-on review of the Omega Seamaster 300 Heritage dives into a common dilemma for collectors: balancing aesthetic appeal with wearability. His detailed assessment of the 41mm case on a 6.5-inch wrist, particularly concerning lug-to-lug and thickness, offers invaluable insights for those considering this popular reference. This article explores whether the watch's undeniable charm can outweigh its substantial profile for daily wear.

First time seeing this gorgeous 300 Heritage in the metal. And trying it on. WOW! What a watch. Blue, no date, lovely vintage vibes, on bracelet. It has a lot going for it, and checks the boxes. My wrist is 6.5 inches so my first reservation was the 41 mm case size. No worries there, lug to lug actually looked good on my wrist. (L2L actually wore very similar to 40 mm Sub for me). Second, and without a doubt, my biggest reservation is case thickness. Which, depending on which review you read is approx 14 mm. I’m giving this one a hard look. But the reason I sold my 2500 Planet Ocean was because it was just too thick for my preference. 12 / 12.5 mm  case thickness of BB58 and Sub are perfect, which is why they are mainstays in my rotation. AMAZING Seamaster, just wish it was 2 mm thinner! Something to think about… Thanks for reading!

If not for my Spectre and other Divers, I will definitely add one.

I especially like the Bond 60th! Most of the time I gravitate towards divers , so can never have too many 😂

Agreed! I had the black dial version along with the blue dial, sold the black dial since I was wearing the blue so much, it's a gorgeous watch!!
