Clueless_Collector shares his excitement after finally receiving the highly anticipated Omega Seamaster James Bond 60th Anniversary Diver. His post captures the joy of acquiring a special timepiece, enhanced by a thoughtful gift from his family. This article delves into his initial impressions and the community's diverse perspectives on this significant Omega release.

Finally “got the call”, sound familiar?

Yes, my Omega Seamaster James Bond 60th anniversary Diver arrived today.

Watch looks really good in real especially the shine of the steel.

Although slightly heavy than the NTTD Ti version, it is comfortable and not overwhelming…the animation back is absolutely amazing.

Nice work by Omega.

My son and wife secretly got this famous magazine as a gift for me…I’m very touched. I can now claim I’m a successful watch collector with my love ones supporting and thinking about me with this gift.

This wave pattern looks amazing and so is this case back.

About the Omega Seamaster Ref. 007Edition

The Omega Seamaster 007 Edition, reference 210.92.42.20.01.001, distinguishes itself within the Seamaster Diver 300M collection through its specific aesthetic and material choices. This particular reference offers a distinct interpretation of the Seamaster Diver 300M, setting it apart from standard production models with its unique dial and bezel execution, and the use of lightweight titanium for both the case and bracelet. It represents a focused design within the broader Seamaster lineage.

This edition features a 42mm case crafted from grade 2 titanium, paired with a domed sapphire crystal that enhances its vintage-inspired appearance. The watch is powered by the Omega Co-Axial Master Chronometer Calibre 8806, an automatic movement certified to meet the industry's highest standards of precision, chronometric performance, and magnetic resistance. It offers a power reserve of 55 hours and is water-resistant to 300 meters.

This reference appeals to collectors seeking a Seamaster Diver 300M with a specific material and color palette. Its cohesive design, from the tropical brown dial to the titanium mesh bracelet, creates a unified presentation. The absence of a date complication further contributes to its clean and symmetrical dial layout, a detail often appreciated by enthusiasts.

Seriously fine pictures. The first pictures i see from Cpt Scarlet his 60th Omega Bond. I am convinced that the 60th would be something for me. In my view the 60th Omega Bond looks that tad better than the previous, NTTD Omega Bond.

I love my NTTD but like you said, it is a tight race…so glad I don’t have to choose.

To collect James Bond Seamasters. Is here at WPS a collector who have the series completed?

This 60th is a great looking watch, even on it's own right with our without James Bond. Don't get me wrong, but I keep looking at it and in my eyes it's just too similar to the regular blue-dial SM line up. For me, it doesn't add variety if you already have a blue-dial SeaMaster. It's a great piece of you are into collecting SeaMasters and James Bond watches, though. In my case, I like and own the NTTD SM because it still has that great SM look while showcasing a very distinctive, unique color a

I also have the Green 300M and this is similar to both the James Bond Diver but different looks, dial etc. This new one adds variety because of the animated caseback which is unique. I think with these 4 Omegas, I should be good with SeaMaster Divers.
