I'll go check it out at first opportunity. I've been looking forward to seeing this one for quite some time.
Hello Kevster! The Omega Solar Impulse Co=Axial GMT was introduced at Basel 2008 and it's finally getting released. I believe that the one I handled is the only one out here in the U.S. I think you are going to enjoy this one a lot! The black bezel goes nicely with the matte titanium. The dial is very legible and has plenty of lume. Let me know what you think when you get to see one in person. -MW This message has been edited by DRMW on 2009-02-03 09:46:38
I saw it in the metal last week also, very impressive in my opinion. usually I am NOT a fan of CF dials, this one worked for me. The size was perfect, very very light watch. Reminds me of the X-33, I think they must have used the same bracelet(?) Excellent report- Cheers!
Hello Donzi22! Thanks for the kind words! As you noticed, the Omega is extremely light as to keep with the design philosophy of the Solar Impulse plane. So did any other Omega catch your interest last week?=) -MW
the hour-vision in rose-gold with rose-gold bracelet was nice! I was impressed with all the Hour-visions with the clear windows on the sides of the case... very cool some pics:
