Cpt Scarlet introduces the Omega Speedmaster Chronoscope, a timepiece that masterfully blends vintage aesthetics with modern horological advancements. His initial post highlights the watch's 1940s-inspired design cues, such as leaf-shaped hands and 'snail' timing scales, alongside its contemporary 43mm case and METAS-certified Co-Axial Master Chronometer Calibre 9908 movement. This article synthesizes community reactions, offering diverse perspectives on its design, wearability, and market positioning.

They already started a waitlist 😳, sound familiar? There is another black/white panda version in racing strap, quite cool.
…my only wish is that they made all the two counter speedmasters 10 bar…then I might buy one more.
But 43 » »..really !??
40mm (and very wearable) and is 100 meters water resistance. This Omega does seem a tad thick, especially with a manual movement. I did a search and read quite a few early reviews, and nobody mentions the thickness of the watch, so Omega is being coy with this. At $8,650 for steel, the price seems reasonable. But I'd prefer a smaller watch...the Daytona is a perfect size imho.
but interestingly their website doesn't mention it. Fratello has this info.
“The size of the watch is good and definitely thinner than the “Dark Side of the Moon” and other self-winding compur Speedmaster models” Quote from Fratello.
