Nilomis shares the long-awaited acquisition of an Omega Speedmaster Co-Axial GMT, a watch he desired since its 2008 release. This post celebrates the patience of collecting, showcasing the watch in striking black and white photography. Nilomis also provides initial impressions of the controversial Caliber 3603, offering valuable firsthand insight into its performance.

It shows up and I got it.

Practically a new old stock, thanks to my favorite seller.

Warranty card, stamped and signed March 20th 2015.

I want this watch since it was released but when I made an attempt to acquire it (2008 if I remember) the price was way too high and I don't get it.

Time passes and ... it's mine.

Few shots that I took on Sunday. Of course the SS bracelet was removed before sizing it.

I'm on a dark phase:

In pseudo B&W:

Close up of the very complex dial:

Blomman style shot to finish.

The movement is the very much discussed 3603, chronometer graded based on the F. Piguet 1285.

So far, it gained 2 seconds in four days. Nice!

More details, as soon I have time.

Thanks for seeing.

Cheers,

Nilo

Love the complexity of the dial and, at the same time, not that pompous. Cheers, Nio

Wow she is a real beauty. And those wrist shots are enough to be the envy of every wrist shot. I guess we can say good things come to those who are patient. Bravo Bill

About the wrist shots, took me some time to learn this style. Patience, in watches, is mandatory. Cheers, Nilo
