But my Omega friends here, or should I say addicts, would die if they see a Tag buckle on a Speedy. Did you tried another Omega buckle, like the ones used on rubber straps? Cheers, Nilo
I tried the regular Omega tang buckles. Now I found a pic in another forum, and think to understand what you mean: However, the tang on this buckle is much wider than the gap on my nylon strap can accomodate. But I will ask my friends at Swatch Group, maybe they know more, so the shame of the decade (or century?), the TAG buckle on a genuine Omega strap, can be cured. EDIT: Just did some research: The tangs on the Omega rubber strap buckles are 7mm wide, while the gap in my nylon strap is only 5

Still available in the US thru an independent supplier; the short length version has disappeared from their online catalog recently, most likely a victim of the recent curtailment order. ... since the Co-axial Speedy has 21mm straps, like the new 9500 Speedmasters. For the price of these straps, I would rather not tolerate the inevitable gap caused by the missing mm. Marcus
