Christianch, a seasoned collector with multiple Speedmasters, offers an insightful, visually-driven review of the Omega Speedmaster Moonwatch 321 "Ed White." His initial impressions highlight its exceptional comfort and versatility, positioning it as a standout among modern Speedmaster iterations. This article synthesizes his expert observations with community perspectives, providing a comprehensive look at this highly sought-after reference.

Dear All,
Just sharing my quick, as usual mostly visual, review of the Omega Speedmaster Moonwatch 321 "Ed White". I have several Speedmasters and I have to say that this one is the one of the most versatile and
comfortable Speedmaster I ever owned.

The bracelet is very comfortable and seems to be very similar (if not almost identical) to the Apollo 11 50th Anniversary one.

At 39.7 mm vs 42 of the regular speedmaster and without the crown guards this Speedmasters wears very well, similar in size for the First Omega in Space model

The indexes have a very light yellow hue, very nice indeed

the dial features the raised historic omega logo

The movement is obviously the star of this watch: the finish in Sedna gold is superbly done.

Is it worth the extra price vs. the regular speedmaster professional saphire ? In my opinion yes because of the movement and the fact that is assembled by a single watchmaker which obviously is an extra cost.

This one is now difficult (but not impossible to get). Definitely worth the wait!

Let me know what you think about Omega Speedmaster Moonwatch 321.

And thanks for sharing the amazing photos. I've been #1 on the waitlist at the Omega boutique in my city, ever since the watch was first announced. I even placed a 50% deposit for a year, before it being returned as they were "not sure when, if ever they will receive one". Long story short: these are extremely rare (just like ceramic daytona's) in some markets. So please enjoy it to the max, and please continue to share photos and a medium-term ownership experience, so that we can live vicarious

Thank you for sharing the photos with us and well done on acquiring this sublime piece. A much better size than the normal Speedmaster and yes, the movement is quite something.

I head that is hard to get but I believe that is well worth the wait. I had part luck part having bought many Omegas throughout the year and I can say that is really special yet under the radar as 99.9% of the people won't tell the difference
