a few days ago I received a very unexpected call from the local omega boutique. I was hunting for this watch since October last year but it was impossible to get. All pieces were reserved for other customers.
It might be one of the only watches that I tried to get in so many country but everywhere it was sold out. I refused to buy it outside the omega boutique (e.g. online) at double the price.
So I sort of gave up but told my local boutique that I was interested in one...... after several months I got the call and I was happy to go and collect this snoopy that landed with a delay but it was a even bigger surprise!!!
Other members received the watch last year so I don't want to bore you with a lot of repetitions. it is a very unique speedmaster for several reason: the dial is white and
the whole black and white theme is really different and fresh
The snoopy (that lights at night) on the dial thinking "failure is not an option" makes this watch pretty special and not that pretentious at all. I love the nylon/leather strap is very comfortable.
As a steel piece the watch is very light and a pleasure to wear.
The special edition box includes a snoopy silver pin but the biggest surprise is on the back of the watch:
Here we have a snoopy in a very cool spacesuit in solid silver and enamel. according to the boutique this made production on this piece very slow as each piece is unique.

I really love this watch because it is a speedmaster but a very different one !! the official price is very reasonable considered the extra work on the caseback. A very popular yet not pretentious watch!
