Last week I was advised that my watch was available in boutique, so last Saturday I went to Venice to pick up my new purchase: the lovely place, the beautiful sunny day and this gorgeous watch turned an ordinary Saturday in a fantastic day!

Here few words about this watch: other friends in this place have already abundantly and better than me described this piece smile

Looking closely, I really like the subdials design. They are painted in a very nice light silver, with an "airy" font for the numbers: the black simple hands and the circular engraving are nice adds.
Central hands are longitudinally brushed, with shape and superluminova inlays as usual.

All the white paints on this dial are green luminous: from the writings to the minutes indices, includes the subdials, glows in the dark...

The brushed case is well finished, with sharp angles and a nice cross brushing in the top of the lugs.

Looking at the bezel, it seems different from the normal Moonwatch: the feeling is that the color of the writing is gray rather white, and the black anodized aluminum also seems to show a different surface, more opaque than the normal.
Unfortunately my other Speedies are if the safe, so I can't check the bezels deeply: but for the Speedy Tuesday the result, for sure, is different.

A nice point: the brushed crown (with a nice, shiny old Omega symbol) is much more sharp rather the normal, probably due to the different surface finishing. The winding operation is a true pleasure, with the crown ridges that don't slip with the fingers!

I see that in the back of his model there isn't the red wax dot put in the factory that indicates that the case has never been opened: maybe some of you bought some recent model and can tell me if this practice is still in use or not...

The brown calf leather of the strap is really something: thin and extremely (almost too much) soft, a velvet ribbon around the wrist... wonderful.

It's amazing how the Speedmaster can be beautifully interpreted without being boring: there are models that like more, others less, but this chameleonic watch never stops to surprise!

Thanks for looking guys!

Best,

massi

Even if I’m not an Omega owner (may be one day who knows), this model is particularly nice with its inverted panda dial. Enjoy and wear it in the best of your health. Best wishes Alkiro

also I always thought I wanted one, at least for the historical value it has. Then I took one in 2010 and... I was infected with the passion for this old bone! Thanks for looking Alkiro! All the best, massi

The ST is regularly on my wrist and it doesn't stop to fascinate me! The obvious things like the beautiful visually deep 3D-subdials (nice to see in your great pics), the brushed hands and the case, but also minor things like the rather grayish (and not black) dial color, that corresponds very sweet with the silver subdials and simply the well balanced overall design! Enjoy it! I do! šŸ€šŸ˜šŸ˜‰ Best Markus

I fully agree that it is a very pleasant complement to your collection! Out of curiosity, did you check out the Venice Boutique Edition Seamadter, too? Impressions? Have a great week!
