Amanico presents a stunning, high-resolution retouched image of the Panerai 6154, a reference he describes as a personal grail. This post not only showcases the aesthetic appeal of this rare vintage piece but also sparks a discussion among collectors about its desirability and market value. The conversation highlights the significant difference between owning such a grail and more accessible modern interpretations.

As close as mere mortals will get to the real thing!
Very dangerous to my wallet 🙃
Last 6154 I have seen on auction been sold for equivalent of 37 new 662. Tax and buyer premiums made another 9.2 new 662. So it is fair to say that 662 is 46.2 times less dangerous than 6154
