Yesterday Raymond_S pointed out that my 2000th post was coming up (I wasn't paying attention) so that stopped me in my tracks right there.

So a few small observations:

1. Love this forum!
2. We need a yearly official live meeting
3. Everyone here is a WIS and we are not doing each other any good. It's like a daily AA meeting in a bar with free alcoholic drinks.....

A small example that we are all watch junkies:

Past week me and my family went on a short skiing holiday. To a very nice Austrian town in the Arlberg region. In that little town there is a very nice watch/jewelry store. Which is a good and a bad thing. Fun to have a look around. Bad to be tempted. Especially on vacation when your guard is down.

So I came packed! I brought my big boys so that there was no way I could be tempted....

And what happened?!

That's what happened.....

Went on holiday with 3 grail watches. And still found some stupid and illogical reason to buy a new piece.

So after 2000 posts the only advise I can give you fellow forum members:

... Why so many watches on a family getaway? Clearly, the strategy of traveling with the big guns did not help to quench the watch thirst. Next trip only take the Lange & Sohne. Trust me, you'll be fine. Cheers! - Scott

as I was bringing a suitcase, I might as well use some of that space for watches I just like to have options, that\'s all...
