I first must confess that the new Marina Militare Submersible are not my taste at all. For me a Panerai Marina Militare is a Radiomir or a Luminor ( case ), but that is the old Panerai guy in me who is speaking.

So, here are some " dream stuff ".

6152:

My favorite:

Pre Vendome 5218-202/A

An ex beauty of mine:

Vendome: PAM 36, which is a fantastic watch:

PAM 82 aka Amerigo Vespucci:

PAM 217:

A very rare bird, the PAM 267:

The PAM 339:

Another of my favorites, the PAM 587:

And the PAM 673:

THAt would be a top theme for a collection, don't you think?

Best,

Nicolas

About the Panerai Ref. 673

The Panerai Radiomir 1940 3 Days Marina Militare Acciaio, reference PAM00673, is a special edition that pays homage to historical Panerai designs. This model is distinguished by its "Marina Militare" designation on the dial, a feature that connects it to the brand's origins. It represents a specific aesthetic within the Radiomir 1940 collection, characterized by its robust case construction and historical dial typography, appealing to collectors who appreciate vintage-inspired pieces with modern manufacturing. The watch was produced in a limited series, adding to its collectibility.

This reference features a 47mm case crafted from polished stainless steel, maintaining the substantial wrist presence characteristic of Panerai. The watch is powered by the in-house P.3000 manual-winding mechanical caliber, which offers a power reserve of three days. A sapphire crystal protects the black sandwich dial, which features luminous Arabic numerals and hour markers. The caseback is transparent, allowing a view of the movement.

For collectors, the PAM00673 holds appeal due to its limited production and its direct link to Panerai's historical identity through the "Marina Militare" inscription. Its large case size and manual-wind movement align with traditional Panerai characteristics, making it a desirable piece for enthusiasts of the brand's heritage. The combination of a classic design with a modern in-house movement positions it as a significant model within the contemporary Radiomir 1940 series.

I think there is Not much to add.

I share your view. Of course the vintage and pre V are pure grails, which are unlikely to get for me. The vintage place in a different league. I could put one one in Neufchâtel and during a pday 😍. I am happy to have a MM the 587 in my family Pamily collection. Of course I would appreciate if With a white text and a green lume ☺️... I’ll
