Hi to all,

Walking past HK Panerai Boutique this afternoon (July 11), I was greeted by one of the staff within that he has something unique to show me. He brought out the latest or second edition of the famous Pam 366 from 2010, the second edition he referred to. Housed in a 1950 case, this time with the P9000 3-days power reserve automatic and date. It's looks like the original Pam366 FU, but on close inspection, the case is larger and with a date. I was told only a small number of this watch came to Hong Kong and only those on their priority list will be contacted. It's not a Special Edition like the original Pam 366 which 1500 pieces were produced, this time only limited to 1000 pieces.

I guess I was one of their lucky customers and I get to take home the second edition of the FU watch, and now I have a pair... I am going to return watch tomorrow and put on a vintage strap... Please enjoy the first glimpse of yet another rare piece from Panerai... I was also told this piece like Pam 366, is for the Greater China market..

About the Panerai Luminor Marina Fu Ref. PAM366

The PAM366 represents Panerai's Luminor Marina series in a 44mm polished steel configuration. This reference delivers the core Luminor Marina design language in a steel case construction, positioning it within the brand's contemporary offerings.

The 44mm polished steel case houses the Calibre OP II movement and features a 3.5mm sapphire crystal. The polished steel bezel complements the case material, creating a cohesive steel presentation. Water resistance extends to 300 meters, supporting the watch's functionality specifications.

This reference appeals to collectors seeking a steel Luminor Marina in the substantial 44mm case size. The PAM366 offers the Luminor Marina design in polished steel, distinguishing it from other material variations within the series. The Calibre OP II movement and 300-meter water resistance provide the mechanical foundation for daily wear applications.

Congrats on the pair.

The 1950 case and fonts looks much better then the first edition. Congrats on the pair. Best, Horo

Must indeed be nice to own both !

congrats ! I think the 498 is better because I do prefer an inhouse above an ETA. Yes Nicolas, we know .... Val Fleurier :-) But this is at least exclusive for Panerai and can't be found in 50 million other watches :-) :-) :-)

Nice and congrats on capturing both "lucky" pieces.

they would be greatly envied during the chinese new year period. Any lucky serial number (number 8 in it) to go with? cheers PAt
