I already wrote a post on the new Luminor ( and Luminor Marina ) 8 Days, launched this year at the SIHH.

The post is here:

I would like to share with you some pictures I just received, to complete this topic.

First, the " Base " version of the Pam Pam 564, the Pam 562:

Then, the white version, with small seconds, the Pam 563:

And a sublime close up of the Pam 564,showing the détails of the Sandwich Dial:

Which one do you prefer, the " Base " or the Small seconds versions?

I must admit a preference for the Bases. Especially, for once, the white!

And you?

Best,
Nicolas

About the Panerai Luminor Base 8 Days Titanio Ref. PAM562

The PAM562 represents Panerai's Luminor Base 8 Days Titanio within the Luminor Base series. This reference distinguishes itself through its titanium construction and extended power reserve capability, positioning it as a lightweight alternative in the 44mm Luminor Base lineup.

The 44mm case is executed in brushed titanium, paired with a matching brushed titanium bezel. A 2.5mm sapphire crystal protects the dial, while the case maintains 300-meter water resistance. The watch is powered by the Calibre P.5000 movement, which provides the eight-day power reserve indicated in the model designation.

This reference appeals to collectors seeking the functional benefits of titanium construction, offering reduced weight compared to steel variants while maintaining the essential Luminor Base proportions. The PAM562 serves collectors who prioritize material innovation and extended power reserve within Panerai's core Luminor Base offerings, providing an accessible entry point into the brand's titanium case options.

It reminds me of my one and only Panerai (so far), a 116F tobacco dial in ti case. Mike

So give me the PAM564 :) I don't mind the 8 Days writing on the dial. I hope eventually though, assuming the Unitas versions get discontinued, that later down the road afterwards, Panerai no longer needs to write 8 Days on the dial anymore to distinguish these Historics from the discontinued Unitas variants. Cheers, Anthony
