RADIOMIR 10 DAYS GMT PLATINO - 45mm

RADIOMIR 10 DAYS GMT ORO BIANCO 45mm

RADIOMIR 10 DAYS GMT ORO ROSSO 45mm

Officine Panerai presents three very elegant Special Editions, three new Radiomir 10 Days GMT watches which combine the exclusivity of platinum, of white gold and of red gold with the technical performance and sophisticated finish of the P.2003 manufacture movement, which has automatic winding and an unusually long power reserve of ten days.

The classic aesthetic of the Radiomir closely follows the design of the watch which Panerai made for the first time in 1936 for the specialist underwater forces of the Royal Italian Navy. It is enhanced by the precious metal of which the cases are made and by a dial with an updated design of great simplicity, enhanced by small Arabic numerals applied next to the hour markers. On the sandwich-structure dial are the date window, the linear indicator displaying the remaining power reserve and the small seconds dial positioned at nine oclock, which also contains a further hand for am/pm indication. At the centre are the hour and minute hands and the hand for the second time zone, an invaluable function for travellers.

The fineness of the finish of the P.2003 movement, entirely created in the Officine Panerai manufacture at Neuchâtel, can be appreciated through the sapphire crystal window in the centre of the back. Through it can be seen the brand name and the logo which appear on the oscillating weight in relief rather than engraved as well as on the back itself. The P.2003 calibre is 13¾ lignes in diameter and it consists of 296 components, with 25 jewels. It has all the technical characteristics which make up the DNA of the P.2000 calibre series (variable inertia balance, free-sprung balance spring, 28,800 vibrations per hour, three spring barrels, GMT function with 24-hour indication, rapid setting to local time, date, balance stop-seconds mechanism, seconds reset) but it differs in having automatic winding and a power reserve of ten days, operated by an oscillating weight mounted on ball bearings, which winds the spring barrels as it rotates in both directions.

The three versions of the Radiomir 10 Days GMT are water-resistant to about 5 atmospheres (50 metres) and they are supplied with an alligator strap, the colour of which, like that of the dial, varies according to the metal of the case; the Radiomir 10 Days GMT Platino (PAM00495) has a black dial and a brown strap which harmonises with the ecru colour of the Super-LumiNova®; the Radiomir 10 Days GMT Oro Bianco (PAM00496) has a black dial and a black strap; the Radiomir 10 Days GMT Oro Rosso (PAM00497) has a brown dial with ecru Super-LumiNova® and a dark brown strap.

About the Panerai PAM00100 - Radiomir pink gold diamond dial Ref. PAM100

The Panerai PAM100 is a distinctive model within the brand's offerings, notable for its departure from the more utilitarian aesthetic often associated with Panerai. This reference presents a refined interpretation, emphasizing precious materials and a sophisticated dial treatment. It caters to collectors seeking a Panerai that blends the brand's characteristic case design with a luxurious presentation, distinguishing it from tool-watch oriented references.

This particular reference features a 40mm pink gold case, providing a substantial yet wearable presence. The watch is equipped with a mechanical movement, offering a power reserve suitable for daily wear. A sapphire crystal protects the dial, ensuring clarity and scratch resistance. The construction reflects a commitment to traditional watchmaking standards, with attention to both material selection and finishing.

The PAM100 appeals to collectors interested in Panerai's exploration of high-end materials and finishes. Its diamond dial further positions it as a piece for special occasions or as a statement watch within a collection. This reference represents a facet of Panerai's production that broadens its appeal beyond its traditional military-inspired designs, offering a more opulent option for enthusiasts.

I don't hate it but not sure if I like it. Guess I have to get used to it. I do like the applied numerals and hope we can see more applied numeral variations in the future. Cheers, Anthony

I was thinking more along the lines of the PAM359.. then noticed the applied numerals and the dots...isn't it a bit anti Panerai? I guess I am considered old guard now as I associate sandwich or painted numerals with PAM. The combo of the applied smaller 9 with the larger sandwich 12 and 6 is a bit of a disconnect for me.. Not bad looking...for a new PAM fan... I too like applied index..just not sure on a PAM

I like it but with the metal they used and quantities they are making, it would be crazy expensive.

what a horrible...HORRIBLE. dial. I find it sad that Rimemont has chosen to goe "toe to toe" with Breiteling. The applied numerals are just an insignifican detail in the abomination that this dial represent :-) :-) Cheers

come one, I understand budgets, numbers, profits etc. I also agree that the "Dollar God", on occasions, requires sacrifices but foregoing your heritage...this....much, is unforgiveable. Going down this lane, in a few years a Panerai will be unrecognoisable from a....Swatch..IMO.. :-) Ciao bello
