Nicolas (amanico) presents his ideal Panerai collection, sparking a vibrant discussion among collectors about the nuances of specific references. His curated selection of four Panerai models β€” PAM 372, 587, 662, and 249 β€” serves as a compelling starting point for enthusiasts to compare their own 'grail' pieces and delve into the subtle distinctions that define these iconic watches. This article explores why these particular references resonate so deeply within the Panerai community.

PAM 372, 587 and 662.

Add a PAM 249 Aka Radiomir " California Dial ", and I think I have all I want among the modern Panerai.

I wonder how many of us have the same ideal, or even better, own them...

Best,

Nicolas

But if I had to pick three, it would be 587, 127, and 249.

Is the case of the 662 different from that of the 587? I ask because the 662 above looks to be flat against the wrist, but not the 587.

I've never care much for the 662. The washed down 6154 dial never floated my boat. I also think that the 372 is a formidable model and worthy of any Panerai basic collection. For purely personal reasons, though, I would put a 127 or 376 it its place. The 587 it's simply untouchable All this based on purely personal taste

... OM straps which allows for a more tight closing but the 587 had a more rigid OM leather with a more loose closing when brand new. Anyway I will confirm later about the cases of each one. Thank you for viewing !! Abel
