Emmanuel (quattro) initiates a compelling comparison between two distinct 'salmon' dial, no-date, bracelet watches: the Parmigiani Tonda PF Micro Rotor and the C by Romain Gauthier Titanium Edition. This post invites the community to weigh in on the aesthetic and technical merits of these independent haute horlogerie pieces. The discussion highlights the nuanced preferences of collectors when evaluating high-end contemporary designs.

The PF is more my style (even if I prefer manual-winding) but it is more classic and conservative. The RG is more playful and extroverted. Best, Emmanuel
Natural blonde, perhaps brunette, red head... or all three.
The RG dial is a mess.
The dial is significantly top heavy due to the hands being mounted closer to the top half of the dial. I searched “Romain Gauthier C” and in most press photos the time is set to 9:12 instead of the traditional 10:08 to “pull” the hands closer to the center of the dial so I think the imbalance is something that they themselves are aware of.
