Mary Anny's heartfelt post celebrates a significant milestone: her youngest daughter's 18th birthday, marked by a thoughtful horological gift. This article delves into the specific Rolex reference chosen and the sentimental value behind passing down a passion for watches to the next generation. It explores how a vintage timepiece can become a cherished heirloom, even for a new enthusiast.

Has she shown much interest in watches before she turned 18? Best regards
From the eighties, a little bit a mess of different parts, the reference came with an oyster bracelet (thus the links), but the case, crown, dial (a great one) are correct for that model. The only thing not original is the bezel, I guess, so flawless! She's interested in anything's vintage, but her curiosity for watches, Iām afraid, is just the result of her father's obsessions!
A friend of mine bought the blue-dial one, it's beautiful!
I hope that life is good for her and that she finds happiness in her hopes and aspirations. Best wishes The Captain
