KIH chronicles a memorable gathering of watch enthusiasts, centered around the celebration of a new Patek Philippe 5078R owner. This post showcases an impressive array of high horology, including side-by-side comparisons of Patek Philippe minute repeaters and rare Richard Mille pieces, offering a glimpse into a collector's dream meet-up.

The RM027 represents Richard Mille's Tourbillon Rafael Nadal model, produced from 2010 to 2012. This reference belongs to the RM 027 series and features a manual-wind tourbillon movement in a lightweight carbon construction.
The 39mm case is constructed from NTPT Carbon with a fixed bezel and sapphire crystal. The skeletonized dial reveals the manual-wind RM027 caliber, which provides a 70-hour power reserve. Water resistance is rated to 50 meters, and the watch is fitted with a rubber strap.
This reference appeals to collectors focused on Richard Mille's technical approach to lightweight materials and tourbillon complications. The NTPT Carbon case construction and three-year production window from 2010-2012 position this as a specific iteration within the broader RM027 series, combining the brand's material innovations with traditional tourbillon watchmaking.
I will try to listen to your sound files when I am back home. To tell the truth, I can't wait to listen to the différences between the platinum and the rose gold. Thanks, Ken. Nicolas
... to really enjoy the difference. But please I did my best..... Ken
Enjoying sashimi with a Patek minute repeater singing in the background. It doesn't get much better than that! I think the 5402 was an appropriate choice, Ken. The room needed some muscle with all that speed and elegance :)
Even the sideliner is superb. I love good food, but in that company I probably would forget to eat and to drink :-) Congrats to your friend who got the lattest one, it is an amazing piece and the RG works just perfect on that piece. Cordially, Oliver
wow...please allow me to catch my breathe....
I love the 5078 more and more every time I see one posted. Just so simple, clean and elegant. The perfect watch in my opinion.
