In this article, jrwong23 (aka watchthebin) shares his acquisition of the Piaget Polo Skeleton Blue, a timepiece that captivated him after seeing fellow collectors' posts. His detailed account and stunning photography offer an intimate look at this ultra-thin, skeletonized marvel, providing valuable insights for those considering adding this distinctive reference to their collection. This piece highlights the allure of a watch that prioritizes artistic expression and horological craftsmanship over mere legibility.

Following Rip9er 's purchase of the new Piaget Polo Skeleton, I have been deeply poisoned by this watch. Pics on the internet such as Fx's lovely pics and review didn't help ! ]
So... I bought the Piaget Polo Skeleton Blue finally yesterday! Completed my trio of Piaget watches.
The Polo Skeleton is a notch above my Polo Green for sure. Ultra thin skeletonized movement at 2.4mm thin (overall watch at 6.5mm thin) with a fantastic blue hue 💙 and finished with a mix of satin brushed and polished finish.

Comes with a blue leather strap and buckle which is easily interchangeable with the bracelet. Not that legible I know being a fully skeletonized movement but spending 1 more second to read the time is totally enjoyable! 😀

Some pics to share. Enjoy !

Cheers
Robin

A vintage Polo would be a great addition as well. GEO

I opted for something more playful but I feel the grey shows off the finishing nicer (more anglage mirror polished effect for eg).

Either that or one with a stone dial. Their stone dials are beautiful too. Not so soon my dear Geo. I need my wallet to recover for some time lol Cheers Robin
