Piaget Altiplano Double Jeu - Globe Inspiration
- there are 5,600 black ceramic beads!

- dial is treated with PVD so there's a white gray color to the outer dial
- last year's version was white colored
- this Altiplano looks much different because the dial isn't protruding at the center so it looks like a totally different watch than the below Altiplano

Dont see any hands or disks so is it the level of the beads or something you dont see on the picture that tells the time?

The top part with the ceramic beads flips open revealing the dial underneath. Cheers, Anthony

Can't wait to see them in the metal. It will be really interesting to see how Piaget manages (or not) to penetrate the sports watch market, particularly since they have had a relatively difficult time (unfortunately) convincing folks that they are a serious watch manufacture and not just a jewelry house. Mitch, Piaget has to tenaciously plug away by producing the sports watches until people realise they have Sporty lines. This, we discovered on our wrists at the recent PuristS on Tour 2008 PIAGET visit. Of course, the other lines had to join in the photo-shoot as well Piaget has had trouble re-adjusting public perception since they are also a major PLAYER in high jewellery i.e. recently in the last 40 years.
