Aloha from Hawaii SJX! I agree with you the Breitling Aerospace is my current favorite travel watch. I like having the second time zone, chrono and alarm. Here's a pic from Koko Head in Oahu: b And here's a shot from the Delta Airlines business elite section while flying out to Lima, Peru (sorry for the bad photo, it's from my blackberry. And the AP ROO in the background is from a watch magazine): Regards, ED-209
I like the way the Aerospace looks and how slim it is, but I've never been a fan of the crown-operated digital functions. It is cool and fun to play with, but it is very difficult to operate while on the wrist, especially when you're moving around. Analog-digital watches like the Breitling B-1 that have pushers are much easier to use IMHO. What are your thoughts on it? Nice bracelet you have by the way, my Aerospace came on the older style bracelet with flimsy rolled metal links. - SJX
Is the Omega Seamaster quartz. I think Omega integrated the display nicer than Breitling. Here's a pic of the Omega with the LCD functions turned off, it looks like a normal blue dial seamaster: And here's the second time zone activated. Single crown operation like the Breitling.
Here are some of the nicer quartz ones I've owned. Grand Seiko "Mag Resist" Citizen "The Citizen" Chronomaster Seiko Perpetual Calendar Oysterquartz Bell & Ross Function (same as Aerospace inside, I think) A very early beige Aerospace / Navitimer Another Grand Seiko quartz, simple, clean no-date My favorite Aerospace (no longer on yellow strap) Breitling Colt super-quartz Bulova tuning fork movement Grand Seiko Oysterquartz Mike
IWC PD Chrono Moon Phase mecha-quartz (on hood of my car after wildfires in San Diego last fall) Omega f300 tuning fork (might not be exactly quartz)
• Two-tone B&M Riviera - Nice, dressy, all around watch • Tommy Bahma LE Chrono- Love this one. Fun, nice dial, gift from my Honey • A 20 year old Rado - My first watch over $1500 • A Movado - This one was a freebie Bob
