VMM offers a first-hand look at Rolex's 2018 novelties from the brand's booth, highlighting personal favorites and key observations. The post captures the excitement of new releases, focusing on design changes and collector reactions to models like the Oyster Perpetual 39 and the new GMT-Master II.

A lot of decent releases from Rolex this year. 39 mm oyster perpetual is nice. The "Root Beer" GMT is a real looker, even if I am not really into two-tone watches. The watch I'm least convinced by (relative to the hype) is the piece that got the most chatter: the Red-Blue GMT with the jubilee bracelet. Seems a mismatch, IMO, and I've said it before, but Rolex shouldn't have done this to the owners of the white gold piece, even if the jubilee bracelet is a distinguishing factor. Cheers, John
she Usually has a good eye for watches. I have to try it. Thank you for a nice report.
and the full gold GMT are the stunners for me. Thanks for the glorious photos!
Models looks so oversized on her wrist
I don't think Rolex sets their steel watches with jewels like that. First time they put a triangle shape diamond at twelve on the bezel. The sapphires have a dégradé from 12 to 3, that's a very difficult to achieve and expensive feature. Vte
Thank you. Love the „Root Beer" GMT. Ordered it yesterday. P.S.: normally I don’t like TT! Best, Thomas
