Clueless_Collector introduces a fascinating departure from conventional Rolex collecting with his Cellini Prince 5441/9 in white gold. This article delves into the unique appeal of Rolex's rectangular, often-overlooked Cellini Prince line, exploring why this reference stands out in a brand renowned for its sport models. Clueless_Collector's personal journey with this distinctive timepiece offers valuable insights into appreciating Rolex beyond the familiar.

Me: “Son, here’s your dad’s first Rolex in WG.”
Son: “WTF is that!? Why is it not round and SS?”
Me: “Its a Rolex that nobody knows and will keep you safe” 😬

Just having fun...yep that’s my first Rolex Cellini Prince 5441/9 in a block of WG.

I just look up the VN Goldpfeil, the case and shape does have some resemblance but of course the VN is much nicer.

Just kidding. Definitely a special watch that most people will not recognize as a Rolex. Huge congrats on getting this piece and thinking out of the box. Best, V.
