Got this DD40 platinum offered by my AD yesterday - I have not really ever thought about it before but it appeals to me (even the dial).

but you can't save too much with the gray market; in the best case five grand for this specific version with diamonds but several years of age, not stickers anymore so not sure whether unworn

good thing is that I can order a second more sporty dial (blue with quadrants is one I like) and keep this one - so I can change the character every now and then

Day date was my dream watch years ago. So sharp, and classy. If you donโ€™t like it in a few months , sell or trade and move on. Iโ€™ve never regretted buying, Iโ€™ve regretted not buying plenty of times.

Love the dial, but the weight is a huge issue for me. I prefer the white gold as it is about half the weight.
