Dr. Tabby (Spangles) shares a relatable collector's dilemma: repeatedly returning to a specific watch without making the purchase. His post, featuring multiple wristshots of a Rolex Day-Date 40 over several years, invites the community to reflect on watches that hold a persistent allure but remain unacquired, exploring the reasons behind this prolonged consideration.

Took me nearly four years to pull the trigger on my Reverso Duo. When you know, you'll know. Cheers JML

I’m a big boy. But even I was sometimes glad taking it off at the end of the day. Similar to too large PAM’s. Had a 40 mm gold one on my wrist recently and that felt light compared to the pt... It is the king of Rolex. No doubt. But be aware.

You're not buying a can of tuna fish after all. It took me more than 10 years before I decided to get an Atmos clock and now I do not understand why I did not get it earlier. Have a good weekend! GEO
