ZSHSZ's original post, whimsically titled 'The pigeons liked it.π', showcases a stunning Rolex Submariner in white gold, prompting a discussion among collectors about its unique appeal. This article delves into why this particular reference stands out from its more common steel counterparts, offering insights into its design, wearability, and collector perception. ZSHSZ's personal experience highlights the subtle luxury and precision of this exceptional timepiece.

And I like the black dial and muted grey tone of the white gold - itβs just a lovely Submariner. I went to the tennis championships at the Queenβs Club in London this week (a warm up event for Wimbledon) and I saw 4 or 5 people with the normal Submariner in the hospitality area. As fantastic as the standard Submariner is itβs too ubiquitous for me, but your white gold version is something special. All the best Jon
As I stated before, the previous model is more significant as far as Rolex Submariners go, but for me it was a little to loud(personal taste), so when this one was introduced I was hooked! I wore it for twenty five day now and it gained three seconds total! Iβm also sold on the weight, the balance and the comfort of wearing it. A true stealth watch as I see itβ¦ BTW, we need some pictures from Wimbledon;-)))) Enjoy the weekend! Zsolt.
I've been wearing my 2-liner a lot with the warmer weather.
As for the blue, I see it as an understated Sub with a subtle indication to the water.
Need to remove and enjoy.
No worries, it gets plenty of wrist time!π₯
