The Rolex Day-Date, affectionately known as the 'President,' holds a unique place in horological history and collector esteem. @that911fan initiates a captivating thread, inviting fellow enthusiasts to showcase their own Day-Date models and share their experiences with this iconic timepiece. This discussion delves into the watch's undeniable presence and the distinct wearer experience it offers compared to other high horology pieces.

There are so many watches that are of higher horology. I am kinda surprised but also not surprised that whenever I wear my Blancpain in public, no one ever notices it (which can be good in a sense too). With the Day-Date, you can tell people are staring at it or notice it on you, and that can be a bad or good thing too. The watch and brand in general is just too well recognized around the world. They are such good marketers of their brand. Others should learn from them. LOL.
Here’s my presi from a few days ago.
Yellow gold and platinum. Both with green dials. I bought my first one in 1984 and have had at least one since then. I love the Day-Date 😁
The exclusive SubPresidentMariner! 😂
I would like to own more than this one. One day. Unworn when purchased, still had the sticker on the back.
Hopefully you’ll get the call soon. Otherwise, I’m sure you can find a great example from reputable reseller.
