Mywrongwrist shares a deeply personal story about his Rolex Daytona, transforming a standard ceramic model into a cherished family heirloom. This post transcends typical watch discussions, exploring the profound emotional value watches can hold as tangible links to loved ones and shared memories.

All the best, Nicolas
To have on your wrist such an important token and connection to your father. Glad to hear it will stay firmly in your collection and on your wrist forever. There is nothing that can replace the memories of family, and nice knowing you will be reminded of him with it on your wrist. I purchased a white dial daytona earlier this year, and waited until the day my son was born in April to wear it for the first time. I'll be keeping it safe for him to inherit one day in the future, hope it brings him
.... imho you should wear it with care, but some scratches and dings make a watch a living object. Your son will see you wearing it and I believe it will be even more happy to receive the watch of his beloved father as a gift, the watch he saw on your wrist while growing up... This is my humble opinion I wish you all the best and thanks for your kind message, Luca
Thank you for the post!
I hope you can feel an enjoyment with it greater than the memory of the loss. V
A very meaningful watch indeed.
