So I’m relaxing g at home, phone rings...
AD: What are you doing?
Me: Nothing, why?
AD: Can you come in?
Me: Why not!😉
So here it is, my new Deep Sea Challenge!💪🏻

Initial thoughts:
Everything you read is true, it’s big, it’s thick no doubt about it, when I first grabbed it I was scared but the weight is way lighter than I expected, the Titanium makes a huge difference!

On my wrist, it wears at the limit without overhanging however it has a big presence which is totally to be expected from this model, after all is not a watch for the dinner table at a nice restaurant...
The watch is tall, it won’t fit under any shirt or jacket, but a sporty outfit will makes it at home, the only part that I have to get used to but the curved crystal and bezel makes it less noticeable.

In my opinion if properly sized it’s very comfortable to wear.
The reason why I decided to pull the trigger is mostly for the technical achievements that we’re all familiar, and as a Rolex collector I wanted to add this milestone piece to my watch box.
Personally I’m very happy to have this watch in my collection so thanks to my AD, for the allocation!

Thank you. The wear comfort is one factor that truly surprised me to be honest, but then again Rolex engineering rarely disappoints.🤷🏻‍♂️

That the 51mm DeepSea Challenge uses the same 3230 movement as a 36mm oyster perpetual

Yes, that’s correct, also Rolex has added the ceramic tubes between the links to minimize stretch and wear, something no other brand does at the best of my knowledge! Thank you for looking and your comment! 🥂
